About Us

Waves is owned and operated by Hadrian & Joanna. Hadrian hails from Devon and Joanna from Guernsey.

When we found this run down hotel for sale when seeking property on the Island, we could not wait to get our hands on it. We both love Guernsey, in particular the rugged west coast, which features in images within this website by local photographer Dan Edmunds. We also adored the location and saw a market for a boutique Apart-Hotel.

Believe us when we say that the Hotel has required some tender loving care and we hope that you find that our hard work and determination has been worth the effort.

We wanted Waves to be unique and wanted to provide luxurious home-from-home accommodation, impeccably furnished, yet simple. It has always been our intention to provide a “discreet” comprehensive personal service.

Everything about the Waves apartments is designed in order to make the most of the location. All have balconies or decking areas. Six of the apartments stretch the width of the building with sea views at the front and golf course/countryside views to the rear.

Each apartment has a secure individual storage area on the ground floor for wetsuits, surfboards or any other beach toys.

Children of all ages are welcome. Travel cots, high chairs, baby listeners and the services of a child minder are available (please note that the charge for babysitters is non-refundable and we will have to charge if the babysitter is cancelled). Children are welcome to use the outdoor play area, however we do not take any responsibility for child care. Please note that we can also provide child car seats and pushchairs to save you bringing them on the flight. Yes, you guessed it, we are parents too! If you need any toys during your stay we are sure we can help out.
