25/2/10 The Guernsey Kart & Motor Club have announced the dates that they will be holding the 2010 sprint events on Vazon Coast Road-all starting at 1.30pm. Saturday 3rd April 2010, Saturday 26th June 2010 and Saturday 11th September 2010.

Nearest restaurants to Waves are La Grande Mare, Fleur du Jardin and Crabby Jack's. Not forgetting that most restaurants are within 10 minutes drive or taxi ride.

Work on the waves project is on schedule with the hotel expecting to welcome their first guests on May 2nd.
Waves Apart-Hotel has managed to raise £3000 for Guernsey Cheshire Home following a furniture sale.
Drivers and passers by may have noticed smoke billowing from the windows of the hotel and guests being rescued by Guernsey Fire & Rescue Service. This was of course a training exercise and a photo opportunity for the 2009 Firefighters Calendar which is on sale now. The Calendar is in aid of the FireFighters Charity and the Smoke alarm appeal. The 2009 Calendar is definitely one for the ladies.
The vision for the future:
Waves Apart-Hotel has a plan. We realise how hugely popular Vazon Bay is for surfing and other watersports and it is the express intention of the hotel to apply for States of Guernsey Environment Department (Planning) consent for a beach style cafe/bar and watersports centre (equipment hire/lessons/retail).
If Guernsey's first ever apart-hotel is a success, we also plan to construct studio apartments or surf pods as they will be known. We will keep you posted with our progress.
