Enjoy comfort and convenience

Enjoy island life like a local, with all the support of a hotel. We are a managed facility at Waves, so you can relax knowing there is always someone on hand to help, even while you enjoy the independence of a self-catering apartment.

General

At Waves, you’ll find ample free parking for cars and bikes; just 100 steps from the nearest beach.

Our apartments include complimentary WiFi, televisions, towels and kitchen equipment. Each is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival, and will be spruced up every week on a longer visit.

Most of our rooms have a balcony or terrace so you can enjoy some fresh sea air. All are named after local landmarks and areas that you will discover on your visit.

Can I book more than one room?

Yes, you can book multiple rooms. The best way to do this is by getting in touch on our Contact page so that we can tailor the booking to your needs.

Can you recommend activities and restaurants?

Yes we can!

Vistas Beach Café for food with a view and takeaway to the beach.
Crabby Jacks for family dinners.
Richmond Beach Kiosk for ice creams and drinks on a hot day.
The Rockmount at Cobo Bay for great pub food and watching the sunset.
Fleur du Jardin for dining by the fire in the winter or enjoying the garden patio in the summer.

Take surf lessons at the Guernsey Surf School.
Try your hand at paddle boarding and kayaking.
Visit St Peter Port to learn about Victor Hugo, explore independent shops and enjoy world cuisine.
Learn about history at the nearby fortifications and towers.
Hike the cliffs around the south coast and explore the west coast beaches on foot or by bike.
Catch a west coast sunset with a picnic.

Do you have beach gear to borrow?

Yes - toys, beach mats, boards and more are available for you to borrow for your holiday adventures.

Are rooms dog friendly?

A variety of our groundfloor rooms are dog friendly so you can bring the whole family on your next holiday.

When is check in?

Check in is usually at 3pm but we can be flexible where possible.

Bedroom

Bright and cosy, our bedrooms are ideal for unwinding in after a long day of exploring or working.

Bedding is changed every week of your stay, with extra linens and pillows available on request - just pop to the office and ask.

I’m bringing little ones - are there cots?

Yes, we have cots and high chairs on site for your convenience. Let us know what you need when you book and we'll have them set up for your arrival.

Are there single beds available?

All of our rooms have double, twin or bunk beds. You are welcome to book for one person. Our studios are the best size for one guest.

How are the family rooms structured?

Apartments with more than one room share a kitchen and living space. For most apartments, each room will have an ensuite, except our three bedroom apartments which have one ensuite and a shared family bathroom.

Each room is unique in layout, you'll find a floorplan on the individual listings.

Can we wash our linen?

Of course. Our onsite laundry room is available at all times. We offer a complimentary linen, towel change and clean weekly during your stay.

Bathroom

Our rooms have a range of en-suites, shower rooms and family bathrooms to suit your needs. Each has towels provided, which will be changed out on request.

Bring your favourite shower gels, shampoos and conditioners with you or pick up some at our local shops.

Do you provide toiletries?

Towels and toilet roll are provided for your arrival, but please bring your favourite shampoos, conditioners and other supplies with you.

Where can I stock up when I arrive?

You can stop by the local supermarkets at Waitrose on the Rohais, Iceland at Cobo, or head to the larger stores in St Peter Port to stock up when you reach Guernsey.

Kitchen

Whether you’re preparing breakfast in bed, snacks for a hike or burgers for your beach barbecue, you’ll find all the essentials you need in your kitchen.

In larger suites there are also laundry facilities to help reduce your packing and that post-holiday washing pile.

Is there a washing machine?

All of our apartments and larger studios have washing machines in their room. We also offer a laundry room which everyone is welcome to use at their convenience.

Is there an oven, hob or microwave?

Yes there are cooking facilities in every room at Waves.

Smaller studios have a microwave/convection oven and a 2-ring hob. Larger studios have built-in ovens and a 4-ring hob. Apartments have a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob and microwave.
